    A new building for the College of Sciences and Engineering on the west side of the Island Campus of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

The building will house instructional and research laboratories plus support space to accommodate the academic needs of the Department of Life Sciences in its growing graduate programs. The 111,600 gross square feet proposed is comprised of 60,500 assignable square feet which includes 6 instructional labs for Intro Biology, Microbiology & Anatomy-Physiology Instruction, 34 research labs plus supports space for Environmental Ecology, Biomedical, Marine Genomics, Fisheries/Mariculture & Micro-organisms and faculty & staff offices as well as graduate student workspaces.
