Elementary School 8 is a 2 story, 153,000 SF facility accommodating grades Pre-K through 4th. The school sits on an 18-acre site and is one of the largest Elementary Campuses in Central Texas, and first of its kind for this school district.Unique aspects of this campus include (2) full-size gymnasiums, collaborative learning spaces, and an Outdoor “Discovery Zone” which showcases water features, classroom garden spaces, and a miniature reading amphitheater. Building construction utilized steel structural members on an elevated slab, with exterior CMU backup walls and brick veneer. HVAC component utilizes Mag-Bearing Chillers on a 4-pipe system.

Responsibilities on this project include Quality Assurance, Daily Inspections and reports, monitoring schedule, managing the change order, submittal, and RFI processes, and attending all project related meeting to ensure the Owner is fairly represented and the Owners best interests are being carried out.
