Stephen Karp, Jr. -
Stephen Karp Jr. started with AG|CM in 2006. Since joining the firm, he has been part or many projects, most recently with The City of Cedar Park on the construction of Fire Station #5, Building 6 and the Police Department Administrative Building. Prior to this, Stephen was Project Manager for over 450,000 square feet of new schools, renovations and civil packages for the 2014-16 Bond Program at Manor ISD, worth approximately one hundred million dollars in construction. Stephen was also the Owner Representative and Construction Manager at St. Gabriel’s School, overseeing 10,000 square feet of renovations and 31,000 square feet of new construction. Stephen has also been instrumental on several Civil Projects including Corpus Christi Mary Rhoades Pipeline, SAWS Regional Carrizo Water Supply Pipeline, The Port of San Antonio, as well as Master Channel 27 and Rincon Bayou Diversion for The City of Corpus Christi. Before Mr. Karp found his niche in the commercial construction management world, he worked in commercial real estate and development in Austin, Texas for esteemed firms such as Live Oak Group, Hill Partners, Inc., and The Weitzman Group. After graduating from St. Edwards University, Stephen’s first job was a superintendent for Newmark Homes.
Stephen uses his innate people skills to insure projects run smoothly and efficiently. He works easily alongside owners, general contractors, architects, engineers and administrators, creating a cohesive infrastructure. He uses his vast construction knowledge, while giving each project a personal touch. He prides himself in delivering his projects on time and within, or under, budget.
