Paul has 39 years of professional experience in program, project and construction management of major commercial, educational, civil/infrastructure, governmental civic, petro-chemical, GSA, DOE and DOD projects. He began his construction career as a laborer in the commercial sector while attending college under the civil and environmental engineering program. After college, he spent six years in project controls, performing scheduling and cost estimating and planning on large industrial projects for a large EPC firm on a $46 billion refinery and infrastructure project. Paul’s experience also includes: new and renovation educational K-12, Community College and Big 10 University projects, defense, nuclear waste remediation, industrial, city centers and parks, commercial building low, mid and high rise projects. Paul also has extensive technical and field management experience as Construction & Project Manager and/or Owner’s Representative. Comprehensive experience with building construction programs, renovations, modernization and new construction for public and private sector projects. Municipal civil experience includes sanitary sewer systems and lift stations, domestic water systems, telecommunications systems, electrical systems, fire protection systems and roadway work.
Mr. Jackowski is responsible to provide construction leadership and perform administration and management within a defined scope of services from pre-programming/planning through startup and occupancy. He provides guidance on planning and construction related activities and serves as the lead for the Project Delivery Team (PDT), consisting of the Owner, Architect/Engineer and Contractor. Through hands on coordination with the PDT, he acts in the interest of the Owner as agent and/or advisor. He is responsible to review plans and specifications throughout the design phase for errors, omissions, conflicts and constructability. Through monitoring, evaluation and coordination of the Design Teams’ and Contractors’ performance, Paul works to assure each project is constructed in accordance with the Contract Documents. Paul serves as supervisor and/or mentor to Assistant Construction Manager(s), Inspector(s) and/or other technical or administrative personnel specifically assigned to his projects.
