Joe A. Martinez

Business Development Manager

Joined AG|CM in 2019.

Joe has worked in the professional contracting services for over 22 years. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Texas – Pan American.  Joe has had a diversified career as a project manager working on facilities contracts in various parts of the country supporting small commercial and Federal businesses. Working with smaller companies, Joe has had business management responsibilities which also have included looking for new opportunities of work, managing personnel, analyzing profit and loss and fulfilling delivery requirements. In 2009, Joe specifically began his work as a program and business development manager. His years of experience in business development has given him the knowledge to specialize in developing, implementing and cultivating new and existing business relationships. Between 2010 and 2015, Joe helped pursue, capture and manage over $60M of contracts capacity for Federal and private sector works. He is certified in Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) through the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

Joe currently serves in the role of Business Development Manager for Central Texas. In his efforts, he supports the Vice President of Central Texas and the Business Development of Director in reviewing new pursuits, capturing, building relationships, talking with potential clients, and managing proposals. His main objective is to continually support AGCM in the central region and throughout Texas to find and open new markets for the company.

Joe has been past Leadership Lab Director for the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and in this role has mentored other professionals to help support and cultivate their careers.
