Project Scope
The 2004 Bond Program for the City of Corpus Christi included 37 projects in the following categories: roads and bridges, public health and safety buildings, public facilities, parks and recreation, Bay Front Master Plan Phase 1 and associated underground utilities.
Services Provided
AG|CM assumed the leadership and management for execution of the program. AG|CM’s services ranged from initial participation and selection of the AEs through final construction closeout. Services included:
- Transforming approved budget line items into approved construction contracts;
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive schedule for the design, acquisition and construction phases to include detailed cost projects to assist the City in determining bond sales, adjustments and program execution;
- Developing and providing detailed research packages to selected consultants; base maps, master plans, as-built drawings and reports to define project scope and budget;
- Preparing scopes for AE contracts, fee analysis, schedule and oversight;
- Coordinating and managing all meeting with City operating departments and outside agencies to ensure project scope and regulatory compliance;
- Participating in public meetings to gain input and support of the public.
