Schmitt joined AG|CM after nearly 9 years with Peter Kiewit Sons, where he managed large projects including as a $37-million Topside fabrication and integration for Exmar Offshore and the $12.5-million Bascule Bridge fabrication for Kiewit Southern. He has been responsible for planning and coordination of projects around the globe. A natural multi-tasker, Martin, who has a degree in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, is adept at managing schedules, budgets and staff to ensure contracts are completed on time. As Construction Manager, Schmitt is a master of price negotiation, cost projections and high-quality standards.
