Martinez received his BBA in Business Management from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and his AAS in Architectural Technology from Del Mar College. Martinez specializes in site development, structural and architectural disciplines in preparing cost estimates from conceptual design through construction document phases. He is responsible for quantity take off, labor/equipment-hour forecasting, price quotations and training for Estimators I and II. Martinez performs detailed review of contractors’ bids and estimates, coordination with the design team and review of intricate project details and specifications for constructability or value engineering opportunities. Since 2003, he has prepared cost estimates for 115 projects totaling over $1.9 billion in estimated construction costs.
