As part of a major Capital Improvements Program, First United Methodist Church sought major maintenance and systems improvements to the existing building, while the facility remained in operation with minimum disruption.
AG|CM coordinated multiple architects and contractors in the design and construction of the project. The program included major drainage improvements, asbestos ceiling abatement and replacement, HVAC equipment replacement, lighting and security improvements, restroom updates and additions, ADA access improvements, roofing replacement and exterior façade repair. Various methods of procurement, from competitive bidding to specialty contractor selection and negotiations were used.
