Services: Program Management, Construction Management, Inspections
AG|CM is an integral part of the Parsons team hired by the Texas A&M System in June 2006 as the South Region Program Manager responsible for the management of $160 million of design, construction and closeout of projects located at the Kingsville, Corpus Christi, Laredo and future San Antonio campuses.
The 60,000-square-foot Wellness Center on the Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi campus is used for academic programs in the kinesiology department, intercollegiate athletics and recreational sports. The facility includes a multipurpose fitness center and activity space, locker room facilities, a wellness center, gymnasium and office space.
AG|CM provided the client with a common-sense approach to program and construction management services, including inspection, cost and schedule control and closeout services. As part of the process, AG|CM communicated with the general contractor, University personnel, the architect and various testing laboratories in order to seamlessly coordinate installation of owner-provided equipment, multiple contracts for owner-purchased systems as well as construction of the building.
