The CCISD 2008 Bond Program project management encompasses design and construction of education projects at campuses throughout the CCISD District. The budgeted amount for the referenced Bond Program is roughly $136M.

  • Four Elementary Schools, New Construction, CCISD - $58.7M
  • HS Career-Technology Academy, New Construction, CCISD - $3.5M
  • All Weather Track, New Construction, CCISD - $2.3M
  • Football Field & Tennis Court Lighting, New Construction, CCISD - $3.2M
  • All Weather Field Events, New Construction, CCISD - $1.7M
  • Construct Restroom & Storage Facilities, New Construction, CCISD - $1.3M
  • Repave Parking Lots, Re-Build, CCISD - $8.2M
  • Upgrade Science Labs, Building Renovation, CCISD - $4.6M
  • Replace Pavilion Roofs, Renovation, CCISD - $5.5M
  • Replace Gym Floors, Renovation, CCISD - $2.3M

Services Provided:

Construction Phase Services

  • Direct liaison as owner’s agent between the owner, contractor, architect, campus facility manager, and end user
  • Provided onsite construction management and oversight services
  • Reviewed and negotiated change orders due to unforeseen conditions or customer requests and recommended owner responses to the contractor that met the interests of the owner and end user
  • Attended bid openings of contractors bids to determine the best value bidder
  • Worked with architect/engineer’s inspector to ensure the project specifications and code requirements were met
  • Ensured contractor maintained project schedule and budget
  • Provide input on value engineering
  • Implemented a program to monitor the quality of the work done by the Contractors
  • Assist the District in development of construction strategies; phasing of construction to keep students and classes operating with minimal disruption of services and inconvenience to students

Design Phase Services

  • Conducted constructability reviews of all drawing submissions
  • Reviewed architect designs with owner to ensure the design was within the owner’s budget
